@spiermackay Wondering how the high rise cotton trousers that are suit separates differ from the Quest cotton high rise trews? Any insights on the weight, drape, and fabric hand would be helpful. Many thanks.

It's the same cut. Same factory. Fabric is crisper and a little heavier.

I recently ordered this blue check sport coat. The cloth is beautiful and it fits well, but when I look at it in the mirror, I can’t decide what I would wear with it, or whether I would ever reach for it over a solid navy jacket. It’s something about the brighter shade of navy blue, which has less of a contrast with a light blue shirt, for example. Pairing with something as boring as khaki trousers seems like it would make the boldness of the jacket pop a little too much. What do you all think?

Light gray pants. Different spin on the uniform.

The Amroury video is great, highly recommend you watch that. Bottom line, its a blue jacket, as @spiermackay said, treat it like a different spin on the "uniform" (navy jacket, grey trousers). Don't over think it, its a great piece, wear it..... just don't wear it with patterned trousers, and you should be good.

@BespokeBrooklyn I would actually probably wear this way more often than a solid navy jacket. I am in a SC/suit 5d a week, mostly by choice, and I find solid navy to be too formal. I almost never wear a pure wool jacket w/ cotton trousers because while it's a trad standby, I find cotton to be too unrefined (diff story w/ a patterned W/S/L jacket). You've been given good advice here.
