  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

I don't know why but wearing an OCBD without an undershirt feels like wearing jeans without underwear. Like underwear under jeans I feel it gives a bit more structure and improves the drape.

I was in Guam recently and every single person there under the age of 50 was wearing sunglasses like that. And not just the ones clearly in the military or military-adjacent, but locals, resort workers, etc.

It caught me off guard but then I just assumed they were the American standard now but I guess not

They can look cool but on most people it gave off a very "hey look at me I have this discordant accessory" vibe that nobody has the swag to pull off

Yeah camo baseball hat, Pit viper-style or Matrix-inspired sunnies, white tank, oversized jorts, white socks, and corrected grain black Weejun loafers are what shows up on my IG explore page a lot these days

lots of hipsters running those gigantic Oakley face screens these days, but I've come very close to getting these the last few summers for unlocking full douchenozzle effect- *mullet not included.

There are still hipsters in 2024? Or did I just time-warp to 2009?

We should make a little pool on this. I say that it works overall, with a few semi-fails.

Imo a visible crewneck under a shirt is fine when the look is workwear/rustic like in the pic with chris black. Are ppl really seeing a lot of crewnecks under fine cotton dress shirts?
i don’t think anybody mentioned fine cotton dress shirts?

mainly looks similar to the one i posted. but yeah not too long ago i feel like even that was a lot less common. may have just been unobservant tho !
