Hello SF community members,

I would formally like to make an introduction to our brand “Larimars – Luxury Menswear” which is a modern day menswear brand based out of Ontario Canada.

We have been around doing local retail since five years now in the south east Asian market which presented us with an opportunity to setup our own family run manufacturing workshop in Asia. It was until at this point where we decided to cater a larger / global audience by extending our online presence and outreach to the north American market.

When we had started this company our objective was never to become a fast fashion clothing brand but to slowly transition towards circular fashion which enables us to give back to the community. We saw many clothing retailers adamant to ascertain how consumer products have an impact on our environment during their life cycle. Our mission statement makes it very clear to provide value addition to our customers without compromising on quality.

What do we offer:

• We make high quality shirts, our artisans are experts in making hand made & semi hand made dress shirt with the highest attention to details possible.
• We offer 1000+ premium fabric designs and styles to choose from in very affordable pricing.
• Each garment is tailored to fit perfectly as the provided specs using modern technology.
• We have partnered with local artisans offering quality craftsmanship for most of our accessories, we make sure the supply chain is ethical and the value gets distributed evenly across the supply chain.
• We plan to launch our MTO suiting options very soon.

How our journey makes us different:

• Made on Demand: We work with limited quantities of versatile fabrics which enables us to make shirts on demand without holding onto massive inventories in return reducing our wastage.

• Recycle & Upscale: Many manufacturers tend to overlook the amount of fabric that gets wasted during fabric cutting process. This fabric waste ends up in landfills and take a lot of time to decompose. We have adopted the system where all of our fabric waste gets disintegrated in to smaller fibers and gets up scaled into recycled fabric. We will be show casing some of our recycled fabric products very soon.

• Sustainable Approach: We are well aware of all the challenges that comes at a cost when we recycle fabrics or remake garments but this is a continuous improvement process, which enables us to observe the product life cycle very closely and improvise our steps making it eco friendly.

Hi, thank you for your comment. Our shirts are made in Northern India as we have a family run manufacturing facility. We procure fabric from famous mills and CMT is done within our facility which enable us to mange our supply chain from top to bottom.
Regarding your concern as to why its not listed on the website is because we are still in the process of evaluation of our facility for global compliance certificates (e.g. Sustainability & Quality) and once we have everything ready we will proudly display certifications on our website.

Which parts of the RTW shirts are hand sewn?

Hi Henry, Just to clarify my statement we do offer Hand sewn shirts but they are currently offered instore only as they require extensive measurements points from hand drafting the pattern to manually cutting the fabric for precision and hand stitching the panels for a true bespoke shirt experience.

On the contrary our Online (Made to Measure) part of the website does allow us to accommodate many request such as Personalized Hand Embroidered Monogram, Hand sewn buttonhole reinforcements & Hand stitching collar interlinings at an additional cost.

To answer your question, unfortunately our RTW shirts are very much machine aided and does not allow for hand stitching as it wont be competitive anymore. We make sure that quality is kept consistent across the board and you wont find any disparity between RTW & MTM shirts in terms of quality.
