1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Idiot grade school parents who park (or even double-park) their cars in the clearly marked "No Stopping" zone right in front of the school , and/or in the off-limits school driveway where they're blocking sidewalk and forcing 5- and 6-year olds to step out into the street (where people dodging around the illegally stopped/parked cars may well have trouble seeing them down at the four-foot level), because they're too damn lazy to park a half-block away when dropping their kids off. Way to model good social values for your kids, folks!
Plus - always - people who let their dogs crap on my lawn and don't pick it up.

The fact that Arrested Development got canceled (due to poor ratings), but enough people watch According to Jim to keep it on the air.

haha- I used to watch Reunion , I was pissed when it got cancelled too.

One thing that REALLY pisses me off is when establishments that have double doors choose to keep one of the doors locked. I just don't get the reasoning, are they too lazy to unlock the other door (and then be forced to relock when they've closed?). I'm not talking about instances when one of the doors is broken or even when they put a sign out saying which door to use, just when they're both working and one is locked, I hate it.

I'd be really pissed off if I were you. Can't they loosen the golden handcuffs for just one night? I'm currently pissed off by the five fucking feet of snow we have. It's not stopping either. Ridiculous, I say. The YouTube founders just made $650 million dollars. For what? Oh, that's right, nothing. Writing a bit of code and making a goddamn website. Why can't I be an innovator too? What pisses me off is that everytime we try to have a guys night out one of the wives has to drag her ass along. Our buddy is coming home fromt he Army next weeka nd then going to Korea. We were planning to eat at our favorite restaurant, drink beer and then hit up a strip club. WHy would she wnat to drag herself along for an evening like that? She really pisses me off because she is like this all the time.

I can't stand it when people misuse the word "literally."
This heard from some girl at the campus Starbucks:
"I'm, like, literally going to die if I don't get a mocha!"
No! No, you're not going to die!

I haven't gone into the office all week. It's like -30 degress so I'm working from home or taking PTO. This means I don't assciate with other people, read the news b/c I'm bored, or deal with society in general. I simply workout, clean the house, or play computer games.

It's amazing how great of a mood I'm in when I'm totally cutoff from the general population.

So true. I'm at home all day working, and generally happy, listening to music, doing whatever I want as long as I get my work done. Any my girlfriend comes home every day at 6 miserable from having to deal with X or Y issue. There's nothing better than working from home.
