After the RRL store in Georgetown closed, I was informed that they still carry parts of the collection at both the Ralph Lauren boutique up the street @ 1245 Wisconsin Ave NW and the Chevy Chase boutique @ 5471 Wisconsin Ave NW. I haven't confirmed this in person, but they took the time to send me a letter on nice stock, so I figure they wouldn't go to the trouble to lie about it.

If anybody would care to chime in on the locations of RL outlets that have been known to get RRL, please do. I'm only aware of RL/Polo Ralph Lauren factory stores that sell that factory store second quality stuff.

I heard the georgetown stores is moving somewhere near by but not so close so that they are right next to a rugby store.

Did the Dallas store stop stocking RRL?

3699 McKinney Avenue 214-219-2301

Additionally, the one employee at the houston galleria RL store who isn't a total **** (yeah those $10 an hour paychecks and commisions make you the ****!) said they were looking to expand the store and add RRL in light of cheap real estate. No idea if that has any truth to it.

how does the real estate crash and subsequent recession encourage a clothing store to expand, especially one that sells $300 jeans and $200 belts?

Anyone know what kind of commission they pay their employees? 5%?

Also, some RRL stores are pictured with boots, does RRL make boots?

I tried on the Officer Field Pant (chino) recently and was smitten. After looking for a nice chino for less than $100 for a while and coming up empty I am going to bite the bullet on these. I'm not anticipating they go on sale too often. Would love to be straightened out on that.

from my understanding, RRL is a labor of love for ralph lauren, who apparently makes little to no profit from this particular project.

^ see jqbomb already pointed that out. whoops.

on another note, picked up my slim blacks from farinelli's today.
