so i owned two BR sweats in size M way back in 2010/11ish, but i sold them all when i put on weight.

186cm tall and about 86kg now (i used to be 75kg). torn between L and XL but leaning towards the latter...XXL is going to be way too big, right?
compare other sweats you have with the measurements on SelfEdge.com. That's the best way to confirm if they will fit. Also, metric system.

Hey all, I plan on buying a secondhand Buzz Rickson x William Gibson MA-1 bomber jacket. One particular listing I see shows a white scuff on the front of the jacket. Curious if anyone has experience buffing out scuffs on nylon on these types of jackets, and if it's worth haggling on price because of the blemish? Thank you!

Just cover it with adhesive tape. That would be the most authentic version of all. ;>)

Any tips for washing Sun surf rayon shirts? Took to a dry cleaner and they wouldn’t touch them! Would a hand wash machine cycle ruin them?

Sometimes simple wet tissues (without soap) can remove white marks on nylon. I've used that on a lot of my black Prada nylon pieces and I remember tidying up my BR x Gibson MA-1 in a similar way before I sold it. For something resistant to simple spot cleaning you can try liquid black shoe polish on a sponge, very lightly. It may fill in white abrasions, but most likely will be slightly purple tinted, so don't over do it beyond the mark.

I’m currently in Tokyo and accidentally stumbled upon a store called Junkie Special which turns out to carry almost top to bottom all Toyo branded items, was in a rush so I didn’t end up buying anything but will be back with my passport and credit card to do some real damage.

While I was there I tried on a Whitesville varsity jacket and wow! I was smitten by the quality of it, blows my Golden Bear jacket out of the water. I don’t need another varsity jacket so I‘ll probably consider an MA-1 or M-65 since I intended on getting a jacket on this trip.

Likely also going to buy a Sugar Cane flannel, Buzz sweatshirt, Whitesville Ts; is there anything else you guys recommend I should try on/buy?

I have used a clothes steamer. Not sure if that's the right thing to do, but wouldn't want to put them in a washing machine.

I know it’s probably much of a muchness, at they’re both Toyo brands, but is there any discernible difference in quality between the BR and Whitesville sweats/hoodies?
