Anyone, own the lightweight sweatshirt? I have the original heavyweight from the first run and I enjoy wearing it. I could use a couple more for when I drop my toddler to daycare in fall/winter

In the market for new white dress shirts and I've been looking over Spier's offerings, since they've been my go-to for the better part of 5 years. However, doesn't seem like there are a lot of great summer fabrics to go with, unless I go with MTO. Should I just bite the bullet on a couple of custom shirts or are there competitors that may be worth considering?

I'm confused as to why they would release sweatshirts and hoodies. I posted above about the lightweight sweatshirts but now they are previewing mid weight sweatshirts and hoodies in the beginning of summer for those who don't live in a warm climate all year round.

I'd glady pick up some sweatshirts for fall/winter but....

Try Luxire. I have shirts from both, and they are both great - shirts fit well and look good. However, I prefer Luxire's fabric choices and MTM options.

I'm looking to order my first MTO suit. Their standard pattern/measurements fit me pretty well, but I am looking to increase the width of the hem and maybe increase the rise. Should I be increasing any other measurements? And is full canvas worth the extra money?

decided to edit this to be less intense: but i do wish it was easier to browse and sort sizes on spiers and mackays website. i feel like i would be a more regular customer if finding my size wasn't so difficult. really hope theyll someday do a redesign.

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Often - I frequently consider sustainability, but it isn't the main factor in my decisions.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
