I bought the shawl collar long green coat true to size, L. It will probably be immense. Not sure if good thing/bad thing.

didn't try on that piece but I actually felt like some of the stuff was running slimmer than I expected, but I prefer oversized and am used to bigger stuff, I think for guys that aren't familiar with oversized cuts things might seem big but it's really not very extreme. I actually took an L in the shawl blazer and mocknecks. I'm a true medium/sample size in most brands but will wear large in dries and raf and mmm sometimes.

prob good, you're at least a full size bigger than me IIRC. I could've easily fit into the S but M has the lemaire egg silhouette going on.

Agreed. After taking home my stash from the (rather mad scramble at the ) 34th Street store this morning, all the outerwear and pants I got are going back because they're too fitted, and don't read Lemaire to me, so why bother? I got tts and bought Smalls in most of my purchases, but I could go Medium or Large in all the knits, and in fact did so with the mock necks, but they were mostly gone by the time I had assessed which size fit me better.

The one exception in scale was the shawl collared coat, and the S I had fit perfectly with enough room for layering underneath or just looking Lemaire-esque in its roominess. But I didn't like the fabric weight nor the color so I handed it to a guy who was eyeing it on me as I fit it.

The women's side of things online was insane. I couldn't even touch the cape, but after seeing it modeled I'm not too beat up. I did a first round of the stuff I wanted and second round that looked interesting. I'm sure the boat neck sweater will be huge on me, but I run the gamut of small to large in with sizing thanks to my arms and shoulders.

Anyone know what "pending" means online? It's been like that since I placed my order last night, but my second order is confirmed.

Anyway if I actually do get everything I ordered I'm really hoping the square sweater turns out to be nice and the lambswool isn't like the Ines wool.

It seems like the Soho store will soon be out of stock, I asked for a couple things I couldn't find and they said all stock is on the floor.

i agree it looked meh in product pictures but is a dope in person. nice crisp rubber type cotton & super nice details like removable liner, fishtail in the rear etc.. also only outerwear that fits TTS..

^in my experience pending uniqlo orders can go either way - i have had some orders canceled after a couple days of pending, and then had some just show up, even though they were showing as pending in their system.

Made two visits to my local store. The first was at 11:30am. Pretty much picked over by then but the SAs had a mobile device to check real time inventory and could fish out some pieces in the backstore.

Made a second visit around 9pm as I was in the area. Stock was topped up, including a few pieces that were sold out when the SA showed me the inventory count on the first visit.

Stand out piece for me was the collarless shirt. My size was sadly sold out. Only picked up the sweatshirt in the end.

i grabbed (and returned) the wool cash blend trousers with the waist cinch detail for the hell of it. I can see why they opted for this cut. It's actually probably a good inbetween for guys here that aren't ready to go for a dramatic shape or full on wide leg. They're pretty tapered below the knee but there' just a bit of extra room in the thigh so that you notice a tiny bit. If you have bigger thighs they may fit you like regular slim trousers. Nice details and wool stacks nicely.

Those who've handled the shawl collar coat - how bad is it? Just lightweight or generally cheap and nasty looking fabric?

It's the main piece I'm interested in if we get re-stocks in green. The trousers and knitwear just look far too slim cut for me.
