We've finally finished the renovation of our new concept -- the arterton lounge. The lounge is located across the arcade from our showroom.

The spiral staircase is a neat feature and brings clients to our lounge, which is a more intimate space.

We interviewed Mr. Nakata on the history of his 80 year old company. The evolution of hangers from the 50s to 80s, and then to the present times, illustrate some marked differences in both styling and production capabilities.

The hangers we see today have much greater thickness and contouring! I rarely appear in our videos, but this one is the exception! Watch the Youtube video!

Anders and I were at the UK Shoemakers Conference this weekend, and we gave demonstrations on the shoeshine process. One key takeaway was achieving a balance between and water as we apply layers of the spitshine. Its easier said than done -- and hence, the in-person demonstration was helpful!

A few of our clients have asked us to make the Signature Garment Bag in Black! So we now have! It has the same design as the other colours -- with reinforced gussets, double zip opening, support for modular travel handles, and, of course, three buttonholes at the top for hangers.
