Do you think this is just an issue specific to the solaro?

I recently ordered a wool and a wool/linen blend jacket...these pics have me worried.

Anyone experience construction issues like that on a standard wool or wool/linen blend fabric from S&M?

I have 2 SM solaro suits. Both flawless. It’s not a solaro issue. It’s a construction issue for your suit. Reach out to Rick on IG.

Thanks! To be clear though, I don't have a solaro suit...I'm waiting on a couple jackets I bought recently - standard wool, and wool/linen. Was just worried about this other poster's pics.

Got it. I have numerous suits and jackets from SM, wool, cotton, linen, blends.No such issues.

That is a relief to hear! I bought about 8 pairs of trousers from S&M in the last year - all were fantastic with excellent construction. That gave me the confidence to give their jackets a try!

The jackets were sent to the store and they had their local tailor attempt to fix them. They came back improved but still had wrinkling/bubbling issues in various areas. I just accept the lower quality construction given the lower price point.

please see what solaro I got from S&P. This was my first purchase there.

I have a bit of bubbling on the lapel of my copper linen/silk but nothing I can't live with as long as it doesn't worsen. Can't believe yours passed inspection.

S&M's rarely has issues with quality, but their quality control is not good.

It's unfortunate you had that experience, especially with an MTM order. Personally I'd find that unacceptable and would want a full refund or remake.

Looking at the linen overshirts. I’ve heard some people have said to size down? I’m a 42 inch chest. Should I size down to M? Advice? Thanks!

Big SM fan, but man they really need to up their shipping game, at least when it comes to trousers. They’re more likely to arrive in terrible condition than not.
Obviously can’t necessarily expect a razor sharp crease immediately upon arrival, but SM’s is comfortably the worst I’ve come across in regards to how trousers arrive.
