For formal collars, to be worn with a suit what kind of construction do you guys recommend? Fused/ Unfused and which kind of stiffness?
There's an option for stiffness?

From what I do know, the 3 options are Fused/Unlined/Lightly Lined.

The fused collars are quite stiff, but they perform well.

I've thought about getting an unfused, lightly lined spread collar though to make it more comfortable.

No fusing. Disrespects the mill.
Lightly lined and throw the stays in the trash. Your sprezza will show.

No need to thank me, but you're welcome.

I've noticed there were more and more guys foregoing stays. I always thought that was a bit odd.

Its kinda growing on me. Kinda.

I've been looking at the marol bruce boyer spread collar (unfused) for some casual dress shirts (checks/ stripes). With another 1/2 in point length. And a more formal point collar with fused interlining for plain white and blues.

What are you talking about? I know it's badass thus I got two, one for me and the dad. The look vs price ratio is too good to pass for that piece. Not too loud but interesting enough for most occassions. Plus great fabric as well. Will post pics when SM finally actually starts delivering to me.

I actually quite like it. I was just asking because it's been in stock for a while in a lot of sizes. Might grab it myself here pretty soon.

Really sad i couldn't buy them all day, haha. If anyone here bought them and doesn't like them, hit me up.

Which suits are you able to mix and match jacket and pant sizes? I assume most are drop 6 as a standard?

For custom shirts is shrinkage the same as regular shirts? Where do you put in additions like 4” collar and shoulder shirring?

I received a new Angelico hopsack sports jacket recently. I have a particular fit problem as the top of sleeve is very large and sort of bunches up around the back of the armhole (I have forward shoulders and associated arm pitch which exacerbates this). Ordinarily I would return but I have already sunk duty charges to get this to the U.K. Can anyone advise on possible tailoring options to improve this issue?

I asked this question before I placed my first order recently. Drop 6 on all suits, if you want something different than that leave a comment while you are placing an order for a custom size pant.
