I've wondered the same thing. I bought it at full price when it came out and have no regrets. The weight is perfect for winter office wear (not too heavy for indoors) and the fabric is so soft and luxurious that everyone wants to touch it (hahaha). It's also versatile - there isn't much it doesn't go with.
Any chance we can get some IRL pics?

I personally prefer the camel colour more for coats/sweaters/trousers. It's not something I could pull off as an individual jacket - especially when a khaki colour comes close and is better suited for the summer.
I can kinda see what you mean, though I'd imagine the saturation on the jacket would be nice on those bright and sunny winter days

Shout out to Rick and the crew for getting featured on PG. I can't find the English post yet.

When the MTO system eventually makes it online, will we be able to request specific jacket lengths as well?

How much length do "long" sizes add to the sleeve and body of Spier's suits?

Granted I am in the 1% and an exception at 6'8", their Longs are quite short, about the shortest I've seen around (granted I rarely buy new sport coats). Most posters who wear Longs seem to be around 6'1". I'm an Ivy fan and I can fit into most older 44L jackets from Brooks Brothers or J. Press. I tried one 44L from Spier and it was far too short. The site says 30.7" in length for a 44L; most older jackets I find are 33-34" in length. I certainly don't hold it against S&M that their OTR stuff doesn't fit a giant, but even by the sizing standards I'm familiar with their Longs run short. My old man is 6'5" and has a closet full of OTR 44L sport coats and suits from his heyday.

Times change, I suppose sizing does too.

I agree with the above. I find the jackets quite short. I’m just over 6 feet and need to go for a long. I’m a regular in pretty much every other suit/sport coat I wear.
