Can you elaborate on this, @luxire ? Does this mean end of black friday sales as well or only the end of all the regular promotions?

No decision made yet, but, most likely, end of all promotions of any kind.
Any action that brings more orders than what we can fulfill in a day, will derail the 3-day delivery schedule.

We are going back to the original Luxire, simple, straightforward clothing love.

Probably a good idea. That black friday sale although great for customers it looks just bad business practice since people bought a gift card to cover all the yearly purchases and threw the system off. That’s one of the problems that has made Brooks Brothers go bankrupt

guilty... but it also means that the business may secure a bigger spend than the customer would normally make. Helps with cash flow to get the $ up front too.

See the soft crease/roll coming out of the forward pleat? Does that look like a fit issue or something I can press out?

this pattern has a perfect fit on my other pieces so far so the issue shouldn’t be pattern level.

Sad about the 5 months though.

Going by our pipeline, we should be fulfilling fresh orders by mid/end September. After which, we intend to fulfill all orders within 3 days of receipt. That will allow you to choose MTM over RTW without the disadvantage of wait.
What that will also mean is end of "sales and discounts" as a sudden large amount of orders will throw the system out of gear.

Below is the current completion % by month as of today. We have made good progress in recent weeks.

On which day of September will this 3-day turn around be enacted? I'd like to be one of the first to test out the new product speeds and post back here with the results

Sometime this month, we will start testing the service. Not a good idea to launch it before being sure.

Given the love Luxire jeans are getting over the last few pages I'm tempted to pull the trigger on a pair. I have a dress trouser pattern with Luxire already. If I ask to have them based off my existing pattern what alterations do I need to specify? For example I dont just want a straight copy of high waisted dress pants made in denim, I want a pair of jeans!

Notice of shipment of my June 15 order. Apparently, it is subject to taxes. Out of 20 orders to France, this is the first time. something changed? @luxire

I love the BF sale and will be bummed if it doesn’t happen this year but I think that’s a totally fair trade for faster fulfillment times.

I asked to make my jeans based in my trouser pattern that has a medium to high rise without any changes. They worked out fine however I should have asked to slim the thighs and hips slightly since I don’t want them to drape over my thighs as my trousers do

same here. Would be great if they can get it to work. That being said I definitely bought a lot of stuff during BF I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.

IMO it might be a relief to not have it this year. It’s such a pain ********** to sit at your computer for four days straight and wonder whether you got the best deal before pulling the trigger, or if you should wait for the next rolling deal. Forget it.

French customs is requesting I pay 38,50 euros in fees for an 89 euros pants you shipped. Are you aware of this?

I've purchased several pants from you and this is the first time I am required to pay customs fees.

They are applying a 17,50 euro customs processing fee added to a 21 euro customs tax.

They are charging the fees based on the listed value of the article which is 99 euros in the purchase document (they are taking the order value + shipping value as the actual value of the article).

and that's wrong... why? 5min reading terms and conditions reveal that "duties for Europe paid by customer" ... in case you weren't aware, most sites from outside eu does not display vat, and it is your duty to pay it...

I believe his concern is that the value was listed at 99 euros when he only paid 89 euros
