You were indirectly in an SF meet up.

The only time I've come close to this kind of an encounter was when I saw a Korean guy wearing some Lanvin low top sneakers. I stopped to talk to him, and complimented the shoes. Was going to ask if he's on SF, but figured out he didn't speak English. It was a random Korean dude, not related to RKD unfortunately.

I think this post deserves a tee as well.

DIdnt realize there was this much Chicago representation in the WvG thread.

I've heard good things about Three Dots and a Dash but have yet to go there.

I've never seen anyone in a WvG shirt outside of the ones I've given my brother, and at the pig roast/egg hunt. :(

Ohio is where fashunz comes to die.

I feel like I was an SF groupthink poster last night. TOJ, WvG, RRL...and I think I was wearing some sand suede DBs...

That's to funny. I need to start going to Chicago for work, factory visits and stuff. I was suppose to go the weekend of the 22nd but I can't miss the first day of deer season and the last day of turkey season. I have to keep it fresh.

Damn it, Brian was going to be in Chicago that weekend and I could have made you both buy me lunch at Longman & Eagle, boo! You checking out the Horween Leather factory?

I want to visit Horween for sure but the real business at this time is with Oxxford. I am seriously contemplating doing an " Oxxford x Wolf vs Goat" giveaway or sweepstakes.
Fly out a random customer to Chicago put them up in a nice hotel for a couple nights take them to dinner ,have them tour the Oxxford factory, and have them fitted for a bespoke suit.
That would interest the classic menswear side but I don't go on that side of the forum much and I don't need the abuse. I also feel that street wear and denim is growing and the readers here appreciate proper tailoring, too.it's more in our nature to bend the rules of dressing then on the other side. That's just my opinion.

I think you get enough abuse in this thread. Which I support.

This sounds like a really cool idea.

Holler if you do head out here, I have to take you to The Publican at least. I love Oxxford suits, possibly looking into having one made for my wedding, but I still have plenty of time on that.

I've always wanted to stop in to the Horween tannery.

I go past it fairly often and always think on how cool it is that it is just sitting there in the middle of the city.

But...but...we have Brigade. Which carries WvG.

But really, I've only see like 5 guys here that I thought dressed well in the 3 years I've been here.
