Santa! was the code from last year, I think they just didn't bother to remove that from that article...which is definitely not a guide per se. The old code doesn't work for me.

As much as I am a fan, I think I will pass this time.

Does anyone know if the cotton cashmere fabrics are similar to flannel with a bit of a brushed feel? Looking for something warm and nice looking maybe.

I didn't know they carried cotton cashmere, otherwise I would have ordered one. If you do order one, please share your experiences.

Hello, guys. I hope you can kindly give me some fit advice on my first apposta shirt. I think in general the measurement, apart from the waist, are not bad, but it feels like the general fit should improve. What do you think?
for reference, I’m 168cm and I have wide shoulders and a bit of belly, normally wear a 41 in shirts and have them shortened.

A bit harder to say since this seems like a pretty casual fabric and shirt. It dangles a bit on the torso, but maybe take a picture with them tucked in?

Length seems okish, I would probably add 1-2 cm next time (unless it's the perspective). Lift your arms on a horizontal position and see how the sleeves behave, they look ok and might shrink a tiny bit after some washes and creasing on the elbows. I like the shoulder fit.

Thanks! Yes, it’s Oxford cloth, nothing special, but I wanted to try with something inexpensive and versatile first. Tucked it it looks much better, do you think I should reduce the waist too?

Better show us a picture tucked.

I don't think you can touch the waist. However you could possibly take the back darts in up to 8 cm in total. Others might be able to give better feedback. All of my good shirts now are from Apposta and Eton.

Anybody knows what kind of buttons are available at Apposta?
I'm seeing only 4 button styles, plastic thin, MOP thin, plastic thick and "diameter 20", but all have a "natural" / light beige-yellow color.
Am I missing something for color selection? I do see some shirts have darker buttons but no way to select that online?

I'm trying to configure a white poplin shirt and I'd like it to have thin white buttons (ideally white MOP but a good plastic/resin one will do too).
If not possible through the website is this something they can do custom after contact?

edit:
Nevermind. I found that the picture of the 'standard' button on the website is faulty. They used the same mother of pearl button picture for the standard button picture. But it seems the actual standard button is white.
Here a finished shirt which features the standard button (for real, as it seems as some other finished shirts which say they have the 'standard' button actually have the 'thickened' button. My confusion was complete..)

What I did was to place an order with MOP buttons then use their contact form to ask for the order to have specific buttons ie: chunky grey buttons and this was confirmed back by Apposta

Apposta just sent me my custom shirt and got nearly all of my measurements wrong - don't even see a point in going custom if this is the case. We're talking measurements of >0.50 off specified...thanks for making me wait for this...

Not sure if it applies to your case...but I have learnt with my first online MTM shirt that you have to check exactly how you should measure, if you do not hit the exact spot, measurements will be off. Second, most Italian shirts are not prewashed, so they leave a little bit extra length, particularly in sleeve length, to account for shrinkage (1-2%). Finally, production accuracy is usually specified as +-1cm.

I have so far not had any problems with Apposta.
