You international people need to chill out with shipping. A small little holiday call Christmas is around the corner and USPS already sucks.
If you want your stuff faster pay for express shipping and it will take a week. Remember this I am hooking you up so extra fees aren't paid and I still get ****.
Customs can hold packages for a long ass time. You could be that person. I can't track or help you with your package after it leaves the U.S.
I am sorry but those are the facts.
It also hard for me to track your stuff when I am in LA working on Spring'13 production and Fall'14 but I will drop everything for you because your package is in transit half way around the world.
If you want me to use a different service such as fed-ex , DHL, or UPS I will the price will go up dramatically and everything will be reported at full value.

You should have your PR person proof read this so you don't loss customers. Or go by the rule of thumb, wait 24h to post any reply or reply to any e-mails (when your upset).

Look into first class registered mail. It's first class mail plus $12 extra for full tracking. Cheaper than express, but slow as ****.

I didn't say anything wrong. I bend over backwards to help my foreign clients get what they ordered at the best price and time. I can only do so much.
If a customer wants quicker shipping they have to pay for it. My largest cost outside of fabric and production is shipping. The post office has came down hard on me over Black Friday I can't risk doing anymore than I am to help someone else save money and I take the hit. It's that simple.
The forum is not a place to ***** about why I didn't ship items fast enough when I ship with in the guidelines of my customer service program. Once I ship the package it's out of my hands.

First class registered is first class mail with registered service (full tracking info). It is slower than standard first class. It costs an extra $12 to add the tracking service. I was just letting you know that it was an option.

for the record - this was a joke. it did ship (<24h) and has already arrived. some people seem to just be expecting a ton. when i place any orders online, i usually figure 2-3 days - the fact that mauro consistently gets stuff out faster than that is exceptional.

to the people receiving packages internationally - i've shipped international through usps many times (e.g. for ebay sales). once it is out of the shipper's hands, he has the exact same information that you do with that tracking number. there is nothing that can be done (you can't call the usps and ask what's up with your package like you can with ups or fedex) short of filing an insurance claim if it's missing for X days. shipping via ups or fedex international is really cost prohibitive (think several times more expensive than usps).

Not to mention the duty that gets tacked on FedEx or ups stuff.

I ordered from Canada for the first time during the Black Friday sale and never got a tracking number and the website never updated my order status. But 1 day after I emailed Mauro, the package arrived, no duties, and only 7 days afterwards. He's even sending me extra shirt buttons because one of them had a part broken off when I was trying the shirt on. Canada post and USPS hardly loses packages. If not having tracking saves me on shipping fee, I rather take the savings.

Didn't get my shirts yet but its Xmas soon so it is what it is. Not the first time I got stuff from Mauro and he's pretty awesome. If you are offended by what he says you should grow thicker skin. Frankly I prefer Mauro's way of responding then the usual cookie cutter responses I get lol.
