The 3-roll-2 jackets can be buttoned on the top, but they were designed to be worn like a two button. When three button jackets went out of style (back in the 50s?), guys started pressing the lapels to hide the top buttons. Is it against the rules to button the top two on a three button jacket? I think those ads have been around a while though. The middle one looks like something I've admired before.
Does anyone have any photo from the dark brown or green merino sweaters? The colors look so light in the product shot so am wondering what to expect...
Curious to know if you feel the same about the bottom button.I know this has been discussed ad nauseum in other places, but I choose to button my top button if it's cold or windy.
It's there, why can't I use it?
YMMV.
I personally do, if there's a valid functional need like the fact that it's windy AF outside and if the flapping of the quarters starts to get on my nerves. I'll unbutton it as soon as I deem it unnecessary though.Curious to know if you feel the same about the bottom button.
