Browsing the trouser fabrics.

620gsm/21 oz moleskin trousers.

700gsm/24.6 oz corduroy trousers.

Cool.

Cavalry Twill is also on there. $378. Woof

Sorry for the camera-quality pic. Scored the last green cord -- usually a 42R but 42S was the only one available. Wanted to run a length check by y'all... too short? I'm 5'8'', more torso than leg for reference.

Probably good casually (I think it looks good in this pic w jeans) but I suspect w trousers it'll look short. Tough to tell.

That said, my preference is for a longer jacket, and I think that this jacket could very well work for someone a bit more fashion forward (ie acceptable by today's standards certainly).

I started sweating just thinking about a ~25oz trouser.

How would one wear this weight fabric? I imagine any indoor heated space would fare too warm?

If a jacket length is increased for MTO will the buttoning point automatically be lowered to maintain proportions? If not, can we request that it be lowered by a specific amount? @spiermackay

I think that is the perfect length for you, the rule of thumb we grew up with back in the olden days was cup your hands and your jacket should hit. This looks exactly the right length on you.
