Guys... quick question, do you think this shirt fits the chest alright? This is the slim I ordered last time. I haven't washed it yet or even used it hehe. But as I said before, the striped shirts I want, I'm still decding if Contemporary or Slim.

looks like a good real world fit...not silly fitted. Collar looks fused?

Looks a little loose. Contemporary would probably be too big.

Yea, it looks great. Not too tight or loose.

Just a quick PSA. We would like to officially welcome John Medalla to our team at our Downtown location. Many of you in Toronto may know John previously from Leatherfoot. He brings a wealth of retail experience and look forward to him helping us transform SPIER & MACKAY to the leading menswear destination in the city!

Two questions from the group's experience:

1. Do you notice more shrinkage from poplin vs twill? I've washed shirts in warm water and hang dried, and the poplin shirts seem to shrink in both sleeves and body length more than twill, to the point where I'd likely order the next sleeve length up (17/35 to 17/36) in the poplin shirts next time.

2. Are the old shirt sleeve lengths cut half an inch longer, or is that just adjusting for post-wash shrinking? Ex: the old 17" shirt shows a sleeve length of 36.5", whereas the new shirts have even sleeve lengths (17/36).

John sold me my Dovers back at Leatherfoot. Always incredibly helpful and happy to see he's joining your team!

i have one poplin shirt and many twill shirts. the poplin has definitely shrunk in the sleeve length as i find it borderline wearable with my jackets. each and every twill is fine.
