These are 2 images I found online of the copper that were fairly accurate for bright light, and one that made me nearly barf but also accurate of sheen with flash.

I have a linen-cotton shirt from SS22 and it hasn't shrunk in the wash, though I have had shirts from previous seasons that shrunk a lot. Maybe they've finally fixed the shrinkage.Has anyone gotten a linen shirt from Spier? Should I expect any shrinkage? I got a linen sportshirt and need the sleeves shortened but wondering if I should wash and dry it before I take it to the tailor
If you’re throwing it in the dryer, absolutely dry first. I’d be shocked if there was zero shrinkage in a linen shirt. Most companies cut large to account for it.Has anyone gotten a linen shirt from Spier? Should I expect any shrinkage? Anyone pick up any of the new cotton knits? long or short sleeve? Curious on shrinkage.

@gonnagetmine out of curiosity, how worn is the Wheat in that picture? Full day’s wear?
Oof. As I suspected. That level of wrinkling is going to be too much for me to endure. Would be curious to see if they released a notably heavier fabric in a similar composition at the some point in the future.10 min walking around taking pics/video
Pretty easily accessible info. Yes, to your question.Anyone reply to this thread anymore?
Will this suit be restocked? No sizes left in stock at all in contemporary.
Hey that's me in #2! Considering rebuying it, I liked this one so much. These are 2 images I found online of the copper that were fairly accurate for bright light, and one that made me nearly barf but also accurate of sheen with flash.

I mean, the internet? Unless they're just lying (which, I mean, odd, but perhaps), I've had confirmation from both the SM CS team and on Instagram that both the Navy and Charcoal suits will be restocked. ETA around mid-April. I'd take that with a grain of salt given the supply chain issues currently, but somewhere in that general time frame.Where is this information accessed?

You should absolutely wash it. Dry at your own peril. Maybe wet the sleeves and dry for a bit.

Thanks everyone. I'll give it a wash first just in case. I definitely meant just hang dry, not put it in the dryer was just trying to indicate I wasn't going to give it to the tailor sopping wet!If you’re throwing it in the dryer, absolutely dry first. huge grain of salt. I asked rick last year if they would restock all the nice flannel pants in like October and he said there was a big shipment with a restock of all pants. We all know that restock never happened. That being said, this year they brought most stuff in a bunch of sizes and amounts plus a bunch of new stuff too so I believe there will be a restock for thisI mean, the internet? Oh, Jesus. Like it’s the lame menswear version of Dieppe. We all know that restock never happened.
