  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Expect an extra inch or so in the width, length measurements but as recommended above - just compare the measurements on a website.

Normally I check the measurements on nepenthes, but they have have measurements from XS until L unfortunately

How would you guys say more recent Bedfords measure? I'm normally a L in any outerwear (parkas/coats) but an XL in shirts. Where would you say the Bedfords sit? Larger like outerwear?

Another green pants alert

I'm pretty sure that it's called the Glassfield not Grassfield. Anyways, I've always wanted this after seeing a handful of them on Y!A. I think the older models were really tapered, so I'm happy that these look looser. Really excited for it to come in

Description from Beams jp's website

The right front incorporates the details of chino trousers, the left front incorporates the details of the Fatigue pants, which are the military utility pants of the American army, the right back incorporates the details of painter pants, and the left back incorporates the details of outdoor pants. The design is different on the left and right, front and back, and it is a unique playful design.

Small write up about the pants

best place to sell EG and other high end brands?
Mercari recently got rid of their selling fees; you keep 100% of the money you charge. (Grailed is minus 13% coupled with PayPal fees.) I wish people would start listing there.

Obviously not the best place to sell, but I recently sold a couple of EG items for more than they were listed for on Grailed, and I kept all the money, which was nice.

Grailed sucks. The fees are high, the service is non-existent and the user base is flakey, it does have a wide reach though. The old B&S on SF was great, people were active members who valued the pieces and there were no fees. It's a shame Grailed took over as the default market for used stuff.

Recommendations on brands that sell jackets/blazers very similar to an EG loiter jacket (similar in terms of casual-ness, relaxed sizing, unstructured/unlined, etc...)?

Outside of the Nepenthes family, off the top of my head, there's Monitaly, Post Overalls, Kaptain Sunshine, ts(s), OrSlow, S H Shirt, Auralee, Casey Casey, Margaret Howell, Evan Kinori, Nigel Cabourn, Arpenteur, Universal Works, to name a few in no particular order
