I think I already know the answer but quick question, do you guys think if I wear these 2 suit colors on back to back days, most will think that it’s the same suit? For the record, the trousers are the S&M Medium Grey flannel and the jacket is a lighter Medium Grey from another maker.

People who doesn't pay attention won't notice,
Those who pays little attention will think is the same
Those who really pay attention will note they are quit different.
But at the end of the day, who cares?

I have the same conundrum with multiple blue pants I own (very similar shade) and I don't care what people think ;-)

Was hoping for a flash sale featuring the green Harris tweed or the Amicale and now need to decide! Ugh. Business casual work environment (sales) with mostly light grey, dark grey, navy dress trousers. Amicale seems to fit that scenario better but my gosh that Harris tweed! I don’t have anything like it, feel like it’s more of a classic fabric and better long term, no? Help me decide!

I went for the green tweed!

Well I wasn't expecting a 45" chest, so that would do it. I'm a 42" chest drop 6 waist, I buy 42R contemp jackets and suits, 16.5 35 slim shirts. I also got a couple 16 contemp popovers to fit as I don't wear ties with those. If I need a tie, I need a 16.5 shirt.

They are different enough.

Thanks for sharing on the shirt. I was still indecisive between slim or contemporary. Loos like we're the same sizes (42R, 16.5-35") so, slim it is.
Thanks

I received the trousers for the Medium Grey VBC today and noticed that the waist was a little smaller than what I’m used to. I’m a 36 but always buy a 38 since I wear suspenders but on these trousers, I can wear them without suspenders it seems like. I didn’t notice that the legs were any slimmer though.
? good to know

That Drago suit should fit the same as your Botto slub jacket, since they’re both standard, non-Neapolitan cuts. As long as you match slim for slim or contemporary for contemporary.

As for pairing the suit jacket with odd pants, it might not work. It’s got flap pockets, so might stick out as too obviously an orphaned suit jacket.
Thank you!

Almost 100% SM outfit today featuring navy cord jacket, charcoal turtleneck, and green donegal trousers.

Apologies for the bad office lighting. A1EE75D9-4E28-4A9A-91FC-9FD565811EED.jpeg

Canadians here must know this guy in the news, Don Cherry (hockey). He’s got crazy style man. It’s nuts. He’s got to try Spier and Mackay. I’ve never heard of him. I only know the trumpet player Don Cherry.
