I have it but i found it really difficult to get a pic of the true color. May be my ancient iPhone. Love the bold color
I think the current light blue suit competes with it.

I just got both the pacific and light blue. Basically the only 2 unique colors with patch pockets left in 36S.

you are losing to spotlight effect. I wore navy CS last year and its great. the chalk is not overly bold

I agree. The VBC chalk stripe is actually pretty subtle
Yes, it’s a cream oxford from another company. I’d say it’s basically a pale yellow tone irl.

Thanks!

After wearing the light weight chinos for a bit. I can say that I'm in the camp of tapering the bottom just a tad. My ankles are like baby giraffe however.

I just wore them this week for the first time (2 pairs) and I strongly disagree. I want to wear these with my, coming soon in the mail, suede chukkas and I would prefer them to go over the top and not ride above it. Tapering anymore would be like wearing match stick jeans.

Agreed, with chukka's sure. But with sneakers and anything low profile, they don't look good IMO.

I’ve posted this before but they could use a modest taper for most people. These are contemporary fit and I have normally built legs. Seat and thigh is great. A slight taper would be an improvement. Again, I say this only cause they are chinos. If they were trousers, I think the opening is fine. I’m advocating for nothing more than a 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

Congrats on your normally built legs. Some of us are tall and some of us are short. The taper would need to start at different places for all of us. A tailor can make a normally built taper for you. A normally built tailor, if that’s a real thing.

Did you have functional buttons added to this? Did you find somebody in DFW area you like for this that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg?
