What happened to the Shipping/Tracking information that used to appear for each Order on one's Order page? @spiermackay

Looking at my last Order, it is listed as "Complete" but no shipping or tracking info appears, nor did I get the usual shipping email.

Did they stop posting shipping tracking?

@spiermackay have the pique fabrics changed over the years for polo shirts?

this year's BD polos seem much softer and less stiff than the ones from a couple of years ago.

granted, I haven't washed them nearly as much.

I have both old and new and the difference is pretty evident! Just like you described. Softer fabric but stiffer collar. Much improved, imho.

Any pics? Does the collar stand/sit differently because of the stiffness?

Unfortunately I don't have proper comparison pictures.

My old polo is spread collar, and the new ones are button down.

The new ones stand up much better though and can be worn under a sports coat IMO.

When I wear them, I'll try and grab pictures.

@Betelgeuse you may be in luck, I don't think the Green Textured E. Thomas is going to work. I tried it on today and it seems a little snug in the waist and the vents don't close. Will try it with a pair of my light weight chinos later, but am guessing I am going to have to return it.

Totally agree with what others mentioned.

I have last year in shirt collar and this year in button down. I like last year’s shirts, but the collars need a little ironing after a wash and hang dry. They just don’t hold their shape all that well otherwise (a little wavy at the front, and the back needs to be “re-set” or it’ll fold a little high on itself). With this year’s shirts, however, the collars are a bit stiffer but they maintain a solid roll even right out of the wash. Haven’t needed to iron or anything to re-set the back of the collar or anything, so there’s definitely something different going on with the construction and I love it.

This year’s fabric is also a little softer, as others have said, and when looking up close I can see that this year’s fabric has a slightly looser weave so they actually breathe better too in the heat. I’ve been wearing both year’s shirts this week on vacation and I keep going back to this year’s shirts for what it’s worth.

I’ve been seeking out the ideal polo for years and while I’ve come to the conclusion that none are perfect, this year’s Spier polo’s are right at the top of my list on terms of overall value.
