i've heard a little bit of a tip that the standard price of the black fleece suits are going down to 1900 instead of 2700

the prices are starting to reflect on their website

and they aren't sale prices...

Makes me glad that I always buy BF on discount. I wonder how many suits were sold at the former regular retail of $2700 or $2900?

Perhaps it is because of the drop in the euro (those suits are made in Italy, no?)...seems odd that any company would start charging 30% less without some underlying change in their cost.

If they were meeting sales goals (or future projections) at $2700 the price wouldn't be dropping regardless of currency movements....they would leave no money on the table.

It probably means the suits won't be full-canvassed anymore, which means, I won't be buying Black Fleece anymore, amongst my already huge collection of it.

But it appears that the current stock has been reduced. I'll be paying close attention to any changes in the quality of the s/s merchandise when it arrives. My guess is that it was priced too high from the beginning.

Yeah, they probably sold so much more on sale and almost nothing at retail prices.

I think this is true. For myself, I have quite a bit of BF and all of it was on discount, but most of it was 40-70% off.

Yes, half of my 15-20 BF items were bought at the 50% off sales. But now, I love the S/S stuff so much, I am buying 3 items already at full retail.
