Nice. I love Caccioppoli's jacketing fabrics, but have never tried their suiting fabrics.

They have fall/winter and spring/summer jacketing and suiting books that get refreshed every year.
Yeah, most of their stuff I’ve seen has been on cards as part of a seasonal line. This was an actual bigger book, and interestingly (to me, anyway), it was mostly quite traditional colors and patterns in worsteds and flannels for suits. Most of the things I’ve seen from them in the seasonal lines are a little more adventurous.

I chose a style with a stronger Milanese influence, featuring a more defined waist. This ensures the suit complements his shape and doesn’t make him look like he’s wearing an ill-fitting sack.

First appointment. MBT #1 nailed it.

Cotton trousers. Waist and hips gonna be tightened a touch.

Cashmere jacket. A little snug around the chest and blades because I grew a bit there. Overall solid.

why does this need to be MBTed...? afaik they aren't those iykyk place but guess i'll keep it quiet maybe theres something i dont know
I like their trousers, not too sold on their jackets given their price is pretty high and not a lot of feedback online thus far. asked about their harrington jacket but couldnt get myself to pay that price

Keeping up the mystique just to tease you gents 😂 but I am usually happy to share who they are when asked in private.

Btw, are you sure we’re talking about the same person? His prices are definitely not high… And while the shop looks familiar, this is not tailoring from Igarashi Trousers.

Big fitting day. Slight issue with the right side because of the aforementioned gains, but other than that MBT#2’s work was reassuringly flawless.

Loro Piana mix:

Anglo Italian heavy linen - so heavy it drapes like wool. The tailor told me he used a harder canvas for the turquoise jacket and a more flexible canvas for this linen one. Makes the navy jacket feel bouncy and almost jersey-like.

Wore a green herringbone number that he delivered to me earlier in June (the pocket on the right looks like it's bagging because I put some stuff in there).

The missus and her second fitting. I dig.

Today, I also entered my MBC phase (Mystery Bespoke Camiceria, to avoid confusion with with the already established MBS -Mystery Bespoke Shoemaker). The shirtmaker is from Osaka. I really like some of the shirts he's made for Kenji Kaga, and put in an order for 3 Italian buttondowns with him.

Finally (for today), final fitting with MBT&3. He is my first bespoke tailor, and I still think he's one of the best out there.

Nice stuff! Thank you for sharing. I like tailor number three the best!
