Yeah, I've never tried contacts because a) I don't think I'd do that well sticking my finger in my eye and b) I'd be tough to fit on account of the astigmatism.
I've heard it's better to wait until you're older to get Lasik, since your distance vision stops degrading at a certain point (mid-30s or 40, something like that).
Also:
For the Trail of Dead/Surfer Blood show (the venue they played is BYO). Good stuff, and not too heavy-handed with the oak.
