I'm somewhere near The Classic. 31" waist, 42" chest. Pull-ups helped get me those proportions and I think clothes look better if you have a slight V-shape. Classical proportions appeal to a wide variety of women.

hendrix: yes, you'll find if they fit your chest, they won't fit your shoulders. Pullups help, but not a lot. It is annoying.
Put a shoulder day in, do side/rear lats plus military press. Shoulders will catch up a bit at least.
