I use a booq taipan sleeve; it's pretty thin and slips in into the AA/Flison bag easily.

Ok. We have six of these bags at the store. If you want one call or email Dave. They're going up on the site tomorrow and once they're gone they're gone.

Received my Filson Apolis and small Filson Field bag from Crane's yesterday. Can't be more pleased with them. Solidly built with quality construction. Zippers are nice and heavy and the brass hardware are a nice touch. Got a nice number too, #82 of 200. Thanks DCrane!

Hahah, oh man...

The light kind of throws off the colors in the first couple pictures. I'd say the last ones are much more accurate.

About the rain/snow...unfortunately, yes. It's a nice thick, soft bag, but it sure as hell isn't going to repel any kind of water.

Can this bag be waxed, or what can be applied to them to help keep the rain/snow from damaging it?

Scotchgard or something like that is as far as I would go. You could wax it but beware. It's a tedious process on unwaxed stuff and you will destroy the value of the piece if you ever decide to sell it.

Anyone know of anywhere that has any of these left? Or anyone thinking of selling theirs?
