Jokes aside, I honestly did a double take when I saw the post and thought, wow what a great design combo! Someone’s got great taste!

It makes it that much more exciting to see a preview of how they turned out. Cannot wait to have them in my hands!

Mine are projected to arrive next week (just received shipping notice). The one thing I noticed about the Patterson model that I wish I had caught before was the lack of metal eyelets. I like the 4/4 split speedhooks and eyelets, but wish the bottom 4 eyelets had metal reinforcement like the EG Galways. But c'est la vie or maybe I can have a cobbler add them after receiving them.

It seems like this design is popping up all over the place. I think John Lobb was the original? I had wanted this particular model a year ago and was told that it wasn't possible from another maker, but now it's available from multiple makers.

that's pretty cool bi material, wouldn't personally be my choice (that color combination) but I like the design a lot
