Idk if Yeossal does this, but with other MTO companies, I ask if the fabric can be pre washed and dried prior to cutting to minimize shrinkingHas anyone else had issues with their measurement system? I've ordered a few pieces using measurements I've used with Hemrajani and have had *major* shrinkage (George Constanza not involved in anyway). Especially a pair of cotton chinos, after laundering, I lost almost 2 inches in inseam. Do they not add allowances for shrinking to their patterns? Is this a normal thing for MTM cotton trousers and I just need to add the allowances myself next time?
It's a little unusual for that much of shrinkage. Could you please PM me your order number so that I can give a check and rectify if needed? We don't pre-wash, usually. We do build in small allowances for normal shrinkages of about 1-3%.Idk if Yeossal does this, but with other MTO companies, I ask if the fabric can be pre washed and dried prior to cutting to minimize shrinking
Tragic: one of my one piece collar polos made it in the dryer by acccident and shrank from a form fitting L to a very tight S
No shrinkage if washed cold and air dry from my experienceBefore this tragic event, when you let it air dry it flat, did you notice any shrinkage compared to first-wear? Is it recommended that we add 1-2% to each dimension when ordering the one-piece polos to account for shrinkage?
