@spiermackay any plans for "performance fabrics" being offered for MTM shirting?
UNIFORM LA CHILLICOTHE WORK JACKET Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Chillicothe Work Jacket is an elevated take on the classic Detroit Work Jacket. Made of ultra-premium 14-ounce Japanese canvas, it has been meticulously washed and hand distressed to replicate vintage workwear that’s been worn for years, and available in three colors.
This just dropped today. If you missed out on the preorder, there are some sizes left, but they won't be around for long. Check out the remaining stock here
Good luck!.

Really wanted the denim BD collar in both colors but had to settle for one BD collar and one semi spread because I waited too long. I have a tailor (a very good one) who is going to attempt to convert the semi spread to a BD for me using the other as a model. We’ll see what happens! Hopefully I don’t ruin a shirt in the process.
Taking S instead of R may suffice for your sleeve and jacket length issues.
You’re right, and I fully agree on the sleeves and length. However, my reply addressed the issues he found with the fit (and I think it’s a personal preference). Between S and R in size 40, it’s a difference of 1in in the sleeves and 1.2in length based on the size chart. No, do not go short, this is poor advice. The body length is fine and sleeves can be easily altered.
It doesn’t look too long to me, but that’s a personal preference. Sleeves can be shortened cheaply and a tailor can take in some fabric at the back. I like your silhouette in it.Hello! I'd love some advice on the fit of my new Spier & MacKay Navy Hopsack blazer in a 40R Slim. This is my first purchase from SM, so I could return or exchange for free. I actually purchased it using the referral code of a generous Styleforum member from this thread.
From the photos, it's clear the sleeves are too long, the body is a bit long, and the back is bunching too much. My right shoulder is bunching even though the left fits well.
My main questions are: (1) could a tailor could fix these issues? (2) Would it be worthwhile to size down to a 38R in Contemporary? (3) Should I just return it and buy a navy blazer elsewhere? For context, I live in New York City and was hoping to spend ~ $300 for something to wear Labor Day weekend.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know about cigar linen, but my brown linen from last year's collection is definitely looser fitting than my tobacco linen from my suit. Although it is a different cut and high waisted.@spiermackay Are brown linen and cigar linen trousers cut differently? I got both in 33 Slim and cigar linen fit nicely, but brown are very tight in a thigh - basically unwearable.
