What do you guys think of this style overcoat for next year? I think we can do it for $398 USD in an Italian Wool. 670 gsm. Fairly thick and warm too. Don't hold me to the price, we haven't sampled yet. But I have the mill for the cloth.

Would love something like this for the winter. A solid grey or navy would be nice.

No purple option smh. I guess I’d settle for a grey herringbone topcoat (only because I want to see a brown herringbone sportcoat for FW18).

2513 really looks great too.

I quite like the design of this coat, the more I look at it, the more I dig it. I think that'll be a definite purchase for me in that rust/brownish color.

@spiermackay

And Rick, if you guys can do a suit in that light blue/grey check color that you posted a couple pages ago, in a wool/linen for spring, it's a definite purchase for me. I love the look, it's the perfect color/pattern for what I'm shooting for.

Can't wait to see the whole SS18 collection.

As long as there is a grey or brown herringbone option for the coat then I'll be ready to throw my money at it today.

I'll just throw in a pic of my Luigi Bianchi Mantova double breasted overcoat with peak lapels to add to the ideas.

Crappy pics but beautiful coat.

Bought some slim fit shirts during Black Friday and mail forwarded them to Australia.

Fits like a tent - larger than Charles Tyrwhitt's extra slim fit. :eek: [Edit: sorry to see my comment has offended someone apparently.]

Going to pony up and pay for alterations though (sleeve width, armhole and sides/back) because the quality is definitely there, whereas with Charles Tyrwhitt I'd just put up with an imperfect fit in the sleeves (DIY darts in the back for $0).

:) I look forward to when you release some true slim fit shirts - it would be nice to see slimmer sleeves/smaller armholes (then I could get away with just back DIY back darts if necessary).

Depending on how much your alterations cost, MTM might end up being the way to go for you. I just took the plunge after trying three different sizes and none of them fitting well. Bundle pricing and Boxing Day sale knocking another 20% off brought the price down to fairly close to what you’d pay for OTR without a sale.

Thanks for the suggestion - tricky bit is S&M not shipping to Australia, and having to use a freight forwarder. Can't believe I didn't think of MTM. :(

@spiermackay - Rick, what are the chances of shipping some MTM to Australia? :p I might cut my losses and offload the shirts I haven't opened yet to a boxier friend.
