Just got all 3 of my light denims today and tried them on for a bit before throwing them in the wash; they’re hanging to dry now. Looking forward to wearing once they’ve dried and have been ironed. Also considering buying 3 more, of the medium wash variety.

Liking the new off-white 5 pocket cords but I wonder if they're actually off-white or if they're just plain white like the LS polos...

I wanted cream, went with light beige. Hope the sizing isn’t fucked like last year’s. Prepared to return them.

I assume that they will shrink but I hope that a cold wash and air dry will make them the perfect size, as they’re a touch big on me out of the box. I went with normal neck size but contemporary fit, despite my slim from last year still fitting me, I just wanted some extra breathing room in this set. I did notice that prewash they seem to be a bit longer in the body than last years are postwash, I’ll try to update on it soon to see if they are still longer postwash.

I picked one up the navy one earlier in the season. Great piece but my only gripe is that it attracts lint like crazy.

I typically wear it as I would a regular vest, with jeans / chinos and an oxford / sweater as outerwear (doesn't get crazy cold where I live). I have worn it with a blazer once and it was definitely 'meant' to be worn with a blazer. The vest is a little long when worn without a blazer. For reference I'm a 42R Contemp in the suit, 42S in blazers, and I got an XL.

For those interested, looks like the new 5 Pocket Cords just secretly dropped. New size chart along with them so pay attention

I'm wondering whether the fit changed or they changed the numbers to better reflect the existing fit.

Or most likely, both.

Just picked up this on the suit liquidation, plus a couple of pocket squares, which at $20/each are not a bad price:

I was mostly interested in the jacket as a stand alone piece and the pants are a nice bonus. Gonna need to hem the sleeves slightly, though. I'll just pretend that one day, I can walk around in public again and I can wear it to the Broad to hit on women with tied back hair and glasses.

Ok...decisions. I have the green polo coat in my regular jacket size, which works good with an Oxford and thin sweater, but less so with a FW weight sport coat. I’d like to pick up a coat one size up for thicker layering and more freedom of movement. Would you go with the DB coat (probably camel) or the polo coat (brown or navy)?

anyone have experience with suit sizing from both S&M and suitsupply?

At suitsupply I’m a 46 jacket and 42 pant. After measuring myself, according to S&M I am a 46 jacket and 40 pant. Does that sound about right?

My glutes and thighs are bigger so at suitsupply I was recommended to go with 42 to be able to sit down easier.

does S&M even offer a 42 trouser? Thanks

For folks with last year's cord pants -- I see that there's a note in the item description that they're cut to have a slimmer look than the chinos. Did anyone have to size up for the cords?
