Oh for sure, though I also don't recall a starting price for MTO being mentioned for SCs and suits.

I might be totally wrong here, but the new peak lapels look better than the old ones which are to pointy for my taste. Only problem with the new one is the damned ticket pocket, but I guess you cannot get everything.

Is it possible to see a picture of the guabello blue mix texture suit in day light? Is the color close to airforce blue? How would you describe the surface /feel of the fabric?

They are similar, yes. Here's a pic I took of a S&M peak lapel suit jacket from 2017:

I ultimately returned it since I didn't like the fabric. I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but I definitely like the new peak lapels better. The appear slightly wider and with a different (less pointy, more horizontal) shape to the peaks/gorge. I also really love that mid gray color and texture in the photo posted by @induere_to. I'm just hoping the shoulders aren't too structured.

I see the difference clearly now. The new one certainly resembles Tom Ford Windsor and that's exciting!

Agreed. New shape looks excellent but I hate ticket pockets. Probably buy one anyway

The previous S&M peak lapel suits had the ticket pocket, too. I don't know if I've just seen too many Tom Ford jackets, but I like the ticket pocket with peak lapels. It's one of those details that traditionally goes with the formality of a peak lapel suit, and seems almost de rigueur. I'm glad S&M included the ticket pocket. I wouldn't want it on any other style jacket, though.

Dear god this is gorgeous! I'm really hoping @induere_to is teasing one of the the upcoming RTW suits, and that this isn't someone's custom jacket. If it is someone's custom, I'm at least hoping the lapels on the RTW peak suits will look exactly like these.

Looks like a wider lapel with a higher gorge and less aggressive angle to the notch (and the point is more rounded). Also, there’s more curvature to the shape of the lapel:

Definitely a positive change imho, it makes the lapel look more fluid and natural.

Also, wth is going on with that ticket pocket in 2017? It looks like two regular size pockets were stacked on each other...?
