The spier long sleeve polos are awesome. I have two. Just dandy enough without going full on lupo or any other brand that has a wild collar.

Anyone have a fit comparison between the regular Navy Hopsack sportcoat and Neapolitan cut version?

just got a white long-sleeve polo in the mail.
this thing rules!
crazy to me they didn't sell well.
for $20 it's a no-brainer. I foresee this being my most-worn casual shirt this summer.
I like the style but couldn’t get the sizing right, medium was slightly smaller than I like and large was huge overall.
I also think that fabric could have been slightly better, I have some from other vendor and liked their fabric ( though they were not 20$ a pop)!

I wore a navy long sleeve polo with the brown glen check from this season today. I have purchased every color, adding them to an order here and there.

As someone who stays fairly casual and prefers not to iron they are great. Lay flat to dry and they are good to go. The ability to show a touch of cuff looks like you didn’t just throw the jacket on.

I admit that does look pretty cool.

Can you post a pic of yourself wearing the LS polo then?

oh bummer on sizing. i took L, and like the fit quite a bit. A good slim fit on me.
Fabric-wise, it's ultra soft on the inside but has the nice pique texture on the outside. i think it's a good mid-weight. This being white, it could easily show through, but it doesn't. But it isn't super heavy weight, which would wear hot.

Looks like a great fit indeed.

The long sleeve polos are as nice as the short sleeve variation imo. Just more factors involved with introducing sleeve length into the sizing mix. Also, the grey shrunk like crazy. If you can hit the sizing lotto though, they are worth the $20 without question.

I usually am between a 38/40 and had bought a medium in light grey. Felt it was tight along the side of the chest/armpit area post-wash but otherwise fit fairly well. I wear a 15.5 35 so the longer sleeve length was a blessing. Did not notice any significant shrinkage anywhere else.
