Space hippies:
Nice pick-ups! I was contemplating an AW jacket this season but didn't pull the trigger in the end.
A word of warning, though (possibly self-evident): The only pair of Nikes I've bought in the last 10 years or so had "laces through laces" like those and they started coming apart on me within a few months. If I hadn't bought them for $25 at an outlet I would have been pissed. Mine have leather uppers, so I can punch a hole right through where the 'lace grommet' was and keep using them, but I highly doubt that would work for long / at all on a sock-knit.
All this to say, be careful when tightening.
I see more and more of these designs in the market, but I will never buy another pair. Shoes need "substantial" lacing to last -- the laces need to pass through something durable (leather and/or a grommet, ideally metal).
Not sure tbh, I can report back when it arrives.
@cyc wid it what’s the word on the Glenn’s western?
I need the hookup. I saw the new Frontier line that are like $1500 each
