Tbh, automatic knives are not my favorite. I like to see part of the blade. I like regular folders. If you know how, you can flick them out anyway. An axis lock is easiest but with still a strong lockup. If I needed a super fast knife, I’d get a Shirogonov flipper.

On the other hand, if I needed a knife for the zombie apocalypse and could only bring one, it’d be a Chris Reeve. They are about as overengineered and simple you can get.
You ever see the Pierce Brosnan Thomas Crown Affair?
Rene Russo has a big automatic knife/brass knuckle handle. I always wanted that thing.
