wow that's really weird because we'll also be releasing a collage lookbook in a few days. With quarantine and distancing, we couldn't really shoot a normal lookbook so we put together something virtual too. Different vibe, of course, but similar concept

What are the current white leather Common Projects Bball low or high clones/alternatives out there?

I have a pair from Suitsupply that are perfect -- virtually an exact Bball clone -- from about a year ago and I'm starting to wear the heels down. Kicking myself for not buying more Suitsupply pairs at the time since they no longer make them; these actually fit my feet better than real Bballs too...

Wondering what else is out there, since I tend to wear sneakers down and it's hard to justify a $500 post-tax price for something I can't resole.

I've done a lot of googling but haven't turned up too much. I'm aware of:

- a canvas version https://www.collectivecanvas.com/men/bal-white-m
- the suitsupply version in the wrong color https://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/sneakers/sand-sneakers/FW1460.html?cgid=sneakers&pdp=true
- Vor 2B, which is a bit bulky and pricey for me and I can't locate a size 46 anyway
- Air Jordan 1 (swooshless has ugly leather, regular AJ1 i don't want the Nike logo, but most of all I don't want the ridged sole)
- probably several others i've found and forgotten in this hellish quest

Please help if you know of any!! I'm looking for a US13 / 46 which also makes it slightly harder to find. I'd also prefer to purchase new, so that I can try the shoe out and return if it doesn't work for my foot.

There's a CP thread that might be more helpful.

Here's another option to consider:

@OccultaVexillum thanks for the suggestions. I've had AF1s in the past. My biggest sticking point with both Vejas and AF1s are the chunky ridge sole (where ridges are visible from the side of the sole) and logo. But these are both decent options if I don't find anything else that works out.

These are definitely the closest thing I've seen to what I'm looking for -- going to try them out! Thanks!

I'll have to toss this in the Common p thread sometime soon as well.

If anyone else has other suggestions, please feel free to keep them coming.

Cool, glad you like them. Just make sure to read the fine print on those, they do kind of like a MTO system, and they're made in china so covid may be a factor. The info on the page says that they'll ship in September
