yeah I am looking to get into a few brands that are a slightly more elegant aesthetic (Dries, lemaire, Schneider) than what I normally wear (ivy/workwear)... so I am not looking for a super chunky workwear boot like Alden and Viberg. Something elegant. I don’t plan on wearing butteros With light denim. I think I’d only wear them with black denim and Trousers. I’m guessing there really isn’t a comparable brand to Viberg/Alden that matches the minimalist vibe.
I think if you want something more classy with the quality it would be the CM shoemakers like Edward Green, Gaziano & Girling ( burnhams were a recommendation from somebody on the forum ) Lobb etc. but they are generally far higher priced than alden or viberg.

I think I’ve settled onto the buttero. Don’t want to wear cm brands. Haven’t heard any negatives about buttero and they have the seal of approval from NMWA.

Any alright thermals? I'd just get Uniqlo but it's a poly blend. Lady White looks mad nice, but $95 for a T aint in the budget yo.

LL Bean is about 40 to 50 bucks and if you don't like them any time within a year, you can return it for a refund. A little more upscale is 3sixteen, which are really heavy and thick. Those are $70.

So I don't go insane, I'm trying to start a fashion blog of some sort. However, I don't have any social media (and for my mental health right now, I won't be anytime soon lol). Any tips on starting one? I already planned on using some SEO to make my organic search look better. I was thinking something very similar to Die, Workwear! where there is some longform, but with a mix of OOTDs and such?

Cuban heel and stitched construction makes my brain jump to cowbow boots. These are more toned down take. The quality is there and the leathers are beefy, but might not be the shape you’re looking for. Small company putting sweet, repro designs.

That sales blurb is brilliant. One day I hope to have a kindred connection with a figurative interpretation.
You have been fighting the good fight since you were born. You have a kindred connection with the figurative interpretation of “war torn”.

Your favorite t shirt is a vintage Stiff Records with the iconic slogan, "When you kill time, you murder success". Your favorite jeans are are a worn-in pair of cuffed jeans, revealing the red selvedge, that haven't been washed since you got them 8 months ago. There is a tear in the knee where you took a spill riding your vintage Triumph Bonneville T140. And now, you've just found the perfect boot to fit under the stylized fit of your “epic" jeans - finally. Life is good.

Sounds like something in the J. Peterman catalog.

I've had a samoyed for a little bit now (she only gets the living areas) - I've given up on wearing most of my fashunz. I don't know how people deal with it... or let their pets in bed. :confused2:

That is straight up terrible. Why not have a kindred connection with the figurative interpretation of "famine victim" while you're at it?
