Thank you very much for the hints. I marked the crinkles in the pictures below. On the green shirt they are, lets say, acceptable, but on the blue they're definitely too big. The what do you mean with "flare out"? I increased only the back measurement by 0.5", not the chest. When I lean forward in the green striped shirt, the fabric tensions over my back (especially at the sides at my lat).
How could I advice Luxire that they should keep the sleeves slim? There are only 2 (or 3) measurements but the don't define the width at the middle of the sleeve. The sleeves got on both shirts too bulky. On the green striped they fit now quite good because I send it back to Luxire to change that. I referenced to this changes when I ordered the new shirt but they're too big again.

Yeah, of course I already wrote Theresa an email but lately it takes (very) long till she replies. In the early times (at my first order a few months ago) she answered very fast but now sometimes it takes very long or I get no reply and that's annoying because I want to get a nice linen summer shirt till the end of August at least.

Does nobody have an idea?

I wear almost exclusively patch pockets nowadays, on both SC's and suits. I'm a casual guy though, so YMMV.

Edit. Btw, the jacket I've ordered from Luxire is a patch pocket and will be made in the same fabric as my last pants, to be worn as a suit.
Sounds great. Looking forward to seeing the result. Thinking about doing an unconstructed coat with them similar to this:

The solution is simple. You simply need to specify it in the notes section.

I'm on the short/small size but for reference, my measurements are:
Biceps: 7.00
Armhole: 9.75
Cuffsize: 7.25

And I add these sleeve requests in the notes section:
Please make mid-sleeve (elbow) width: 5.50 inches
Please make cuffs: 2.00 inches

I got the Blue University Stripes Oxford, and I'm quite happy with it. Which of the plain blue oxford cloths is the equivalent in terms of weight and quality?

The standard $60 blue oxford is great. Probably my favorite out of the 7-8 shirts I have from them. It's the closest to the stripe (which I have too), but better in my opinion.

Wow! True Donegal Tweed. Some pretty amazing stuff! I was pretty well set on ordering #25343 from the Glorious Twelfth for my first Luxire sports coat -- now I'm not so sure. The Molloy Maroon, Blue and Purple-Blue are all quite enticing selections.

Thanks for these exciting new options Luxire!

Just got a new l/s polo in the "crimson red" today. For anyone thinking of ordering it be advised that it's a lot lighter in real life than it shows on the website. Below are some comparison photo's.

@luxire you should think about lightening the image on the website to a more true red and perhaps changing the name, as crimson to me describes a darker red.

Bummer about the colour difference, though the crimson red will be the perfect replacement for my Chinese new year lunch polo.

It's funny - I actually complained to Luxire about them using Brick Red Piqué, not Crimson Red Piqué, when making my Polo. Now I see it's just an inaccurate picture. I was expecting a burgundy as well...

hard to say being tucked in but looks like the hips and waist may be too tight preventing the shirt from falling naturally and thus riding up. An un-tucked photo would help further.

For my feeling, the hips are quite ok at this shirt. When I make them even bigger, there are again a lot of crinkles at the back, where I tuck the shirt in, which I want to avoid.
Furthermore I don't think that a too narrow waist is the problem because if the shirt is tucked in, it's more or less fixed around the waist. So it can't anyway "fall".
I'll make the un-tucked photo a bit later. If I'm thinking wrong, please tell me. Thanks!

I ordered like this but instead of giving the measurement the name "mid-sleeve (elbow)", I wrote that they should make the sleeve 12" above the cuff 6-6.25" and they made it 6.75" which is then of course a big difference in the volume there.

In my upcoming order I'm going to be ordering a white button-down shirt for casual wear (untucked, usually with black jeans or navy chinos). I'm a novice at choosing materials, though, so could anyone explain the difference between Warzone white oxford and Warzone plus white oxford? Or would the "white every-day shirt" perhaps be more ideal?

You have skilz! That's exactly what I was thinking. It'd be ideal to show the options on a full pair, w/ right and left pockets depicted. What I had in mind originally, fwiw, was the top X on the right and the bottom L on the left. But it'd be neat to see just the L's together and the X's together. I think the best ways for those would bottom L on left, top L on right and top X on right, bottom L on left. But the other ways around could be good too. There would be ten options that way, and even more if you or anyone else wanted to put ab X on the left and an L right. Plain would be a good option too. But I think I'd try the L and X. It'd be easy for me or anyone else to remove the stitches later if they didn't love them.

Sounds good. Let me work on a prototype. Will share images later this week.

Hey guys,

I have some pulling around the underarm area on the shirt that I just received. Has anybody had any experience with this and can comment on what might be causing it? I don't think that it's necessarily too tight - my mobility is unaffected. I'll make the adjustment for my next shirt.

Thanks!

Difficult to tell just based on that photo, but I think your yoke measurement might be a bit too small. Increasing that should remove the tightness around the underarms. I had a similar issue with one of my shirts.
