Eh, I would caution against a casual knit sport coat. I did a piece on this exact topic a little while ago on my site. The problem with a casual sport coat is that there is always a better option (either a cardigan sweater for casual situations or an actual sport coat for more formal situations). In trying to be versatile, the casual sport coat is never an ideal choice. I think you’ll find that you never reach for it. At least, that’s been my experience.

Bit of an epilogue; found Barena Slanega Lanoso blazer in navy; perfect. Now I just need to find something in gray.
