How much are they?

Just ordered a size 10 medium. They were $159 + tax, w/ free shipping. This was my first time ordering from Bean and they were great. Only downside was the boots are backordered until September 30th, though I'm not sure if that's for all sizes or not.

So this boot is back in stock? Should I call and just ask about the discontinued boot? Will they know what I am talking about?

Thanks

Edit: I went on live support and like mcg1277 said, they are back ordered until Sept 30th... Would these be okay for a London, Ontario (2 hrs west of Toronto) winter? Really snowy, slushy, and icy.

I'm also out in ontario now and I've got a feeling these boots will not be good for the ice. I wore them back in Vancouver in the winter, and they were great in rain and a bit of slush, but any snow and ice and you're just slipping. No grip pretty much, which is probably why I might be looking for a new pair of boots for the winter

They are slippery on ice but they are not really winter boots...they aren't insulated and don't have big lugs on the soles.

I still wear them in the winter but I am pretty surefooted...I might get a beefier sole put on when they need it. You can send them back to chippewa for like $60 to get resoled and I bet they would be fine with putting a commando sole on it (they even come with a ready to ship mailer when you buy them)

Yea these are great for light winter boots where you face a bit of snow. I was in New York and I almost slipped once. It's the perfect winter boot for people that don't have 'real' winters.

Just ordered yesterday using the 10% off. Ordered TTS. At worst, will be slightly too big for my left foot.

Yeah, I've worn these in southern Ontario winters for the last 2 years. If you're talking city use, they're more than adequate with warm socks. If you're talking -20C with unplowed/unsalted roads/sidewalks that you'll be walking in for hours at a time, maybe go for a lug-soled insulated boot.
