Anklets!!

Hey there fellas! I am new to the forum and looking forward to exchanging ideas on style, without being judged. Please check me out at the 'Introduce Yourself' thread in General Chat.
Quick question for all of you jewelry aficianados....When wearing an anklet to a formal affair, do you feel that it is inappropriate to wear said anklet on the outside of your hosiery?
I am sure that I am not alone when I tell you that I own a tremendous amount of anklets, and some are more special to me than others. One, in particular, is a smashing white gold little number with a turquoise kitty pendant. My friend Ramon purchased it for me whilst on holiday in the Yucatan.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing from the entire crew here.

Only if the anklets are of bespoke length and contain only natural items such as double thickness mother of pearl.
