I'm just throwing guesses here, but I have a feeling some self aware grandpa would throw witty remarks if someone discussed oh so juvenile things as denim or casual clothing in your wonderful world of supermanly clothing.

seriously though, 2 questions/comments:

i don't see the need for this section at all. why cant you discuss jeans and sneakers in the men's clothing section?

also, whatever you choose to name this, the other section will remain "men's clothing", therefore insinuating that this is not.

We can't even discuss men's clothing (i.e. suits and such) in the men's clothing section; there's nothing to discuss, some brands and styles are approved, some are not and you're here to learn the dogma or some intricacies related to well regarded brands. If you wear one of the well-regarded brands you can post pics of your stuff or ask questions to achieve the required style that should be associated with a brand. I'd rather be here where there's some hype and backlash but it's okay to disagree instead of being told the truth about what I should wear (if there's a runway show; it sucks!!!) and how I should wear it (the one true way) on the men's forum. I know I'm exaggerating and some of the posters have an in-depth knowledge of garment construction, which is great but sincerely read the backlash some threads get and you'll see I'm not far from the truth.

Dirty trick. Especially impressive coming from a pseudo-intellectual hipster wannabe like yourself.

I think those guys normally watch anime 24/7 and attend Final Fantasy concerts. Though, I guess I have an anime avatar...

If you have as much trouble finding jeans long enough for you as you say you do, I tend to doubt anyone will mistake you for Japanese, despite the avatar, lol

Now that I think about it, I don't think you can change the name of this fora(?) without changing the other men's section.

One section would need to be dressy and the other casual. That would seem to make more sense.

Men's Dress / Suits / Shoes

Men's Casual / Denim / Sneakers

Or something like that...

That would really seperate the two fora quite well.
