I'll bet the value of these guitars will increase. He doesn't make that many. But yeah, $5000 is some serious cash.

Saw Rick Derringer last night at the Ringo Starr concert. Was suprised by how awesome he was. He played a Warrior guitar and VVT amps (which I'd never heard of). The guitar was cool because it was a single coil pickup flanked by two p90s.

Wanted to bump this thread.
This has been an epic summer for me and gear. Found my perfect CS Strat:

Also just bought a Two Rock amp on eBay, can't wait for it to come. Seriously my grail tone. And I've kinda been going crazy with pedals recently, too. It's going GOOD.

Anybody else have something new and cool to post?

They're FCS Custom 50's I think. Come standard on all the FCS '56 relic strats, and I'm pretty happy with them. They sound really really nice, especially the 2nd (4th? I never know which way they're numbered) position. Was between this and a vintage '79 Strat with a similarly awesome chunky neck, but the sound of this one was just waaaaaayy better.

'65 Gibson LG-1, words cannot express how much I love this guitar. It's in mint condition, I don't think anyone ever played it for more than a couple hours. More work for me!

Like that LG-1, and the Jazzmaster is awesome as well. I love vintage acoustics, though I've gotten a bit tired of my '69 D18 and kind of want a brand new Lowden. Will take awhile though, my cash is all gone.

When James was first starting out, I came this ** close to ordering a one-off esquire from him with a Bigsyby. They were very affordable then. It would have been a fun axe to have.

I love those Strats with the maple fretboard. If you're going bright, go friggin' bright.

I picked up this little blues machine yesterday at the Alameda Flea market. These little National Resophonics are fun and have a great sound.
