Just spoke to Stephen yesterday. Said he will refund me the shipping to send boots back plus the additional 15 dollars. My reorder (black nubuck) I asked them not to put the topy on as I've heard too many stories of them peeling off after a month of wear. Will probably take it to a cobbler and ask them to put it on when I get the boots. He said it may take up to a month as he has to order more nubuck uppers and they MAY have the logo on them. He said he its too much trouble to make the boot without the logo and he will not be doing it anymore. Either way the wait continues.

Too much trouble to make a boot without the logo? Seriously? Still no sign of my nubucks despite promises a month ago. Five months and waiting.

Well he said they have been making boots for 65 years and its not like their logo is an eye sore like a Tommy Hilfiger logo. Did you try calling? Give him a ring

This thread is the cockroach of SF.
It will still be going in five years.
"Hey, the company folded, but Stephen promised me a pony and a bag of candy, so I guess I can wait a few more weeks."
