The Junghans probably has a Valjoux 7750 movement, the Cartier prob. has some sort of ETA (2892-2?). Both are fairly standard movements, just refinished/dressed up slightly. Any proper watch repair guy should know these well. If the Cartier movement is completely f@{ked, I don't think $750 is that much - maybe you should get it checked by an independent watch repair guy first?Originally Posted by Lucky Strike

Ive posted this watch before but I just picked up a new strap for it the other day. The strap looks less purple in real life.
