1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Legit. If things keep up we are heading to the hospital in about 40min to get checked out.

    Speedy Pro got a work out today.

    @DLJr - congrats D!

    @no frills - my man, whatever you put your mind to you seem to kill it. Watches, pens, cameras. I'm almost hesitant to google whatever model you're talking about, as it's sure to my screen crack from pure envy.

    I saw that at Watch Club and nearly kopped myself. Very nicely done!

    Does anyone know if there's much room to negotiate on price when buying a watch directly from an independent?

    A friend is looking to purchase something from Urban Jurgensen, and is dealing directly with the factory itself. He's hoping to get them to knock off 5-10% off the list, but is hesitant to ask. I know some people on TZ and the like contend that it's standard practice, but curious to hear any opinions?

    Congratulations to Mr and Mrs @DLJr for delivering their first bundle of joy earlier today! #ShitJustGotReal

    @rnguy001 - quite enjoy learning! Don't google the models, don't drink the Leica Kool-Aid... A dangerous path!

    Thanks, that's a very gracious response. That's also a lovely Vacheron. You're certainly welcome to share those sorts of posts. I just found the other ones a bit of too 'advertorial' - but if you're developing your own watch then chapeau, and it would be interesting to see some of the intricacies of the process.

    I'm glad you're an appreciator of the sausage dog.
