Has anyone tried the new cord shirts? What's the fit like compared to the flannel shirts and is there any shrinkage after washing?

Are the uk online measurements accurate compared to your blazer?

yes, they do seem to be, except that body length is longer than stated, actually 28.5". i presume they didn't include the collar.

has anyone held both the +j wool flannel blazer in navy and the matching straight leg trousers in navy up close? do they match in colour? the uniqlo jp site has the trousers slightly lighter in shade :eh:.

Yeah, on the japan site, the grey flannel straight pants look light/mid grey but the blazer looks charcoal. They both have the same color code, though.

My friend is gonna be in NYC tomorrow, do you think he'd still be able to find me black +J trousers in 28/29 and some white dress shirts in XS?

I visited the Myeongdong store in Korea yesterday to check out the +J stuff, and then dropped by the Gangnam one as well because, well, I wanted a good burrito. Between the two I got to handle pretty much all of the collection. Pretty impressed, though as mentioned I wish they'd stop using the high buttons. I thought the construction of some of the earlier +J stuff was a little erratic but it's solid this time. Particularly pleased with the heavy wool used in the peacoats.

The sizing is really weird though, even in Asia. Larger in all dimensions, which speaking as a tall xs isn't that bad when you account for winter layering. It's really, really boxy however. +J was never particularly anatomical but it's especially noticeable this season.

I ended up grabbing the cashmere wool scarf and am waffling on the cashmere blended wool double breasted coat, depending on what ToJ does for f/w.

I was pretty surprised that I was actually able to find a gray flannel double breasted jacket in XS today.
Some thoughts:
-very little shirt shows
-it has a single vent (this could be a deal killer - would've definitely preferred double)
-fit was good (I wear XS in the regular line's slim fit jackets)
I'm still deciding if I'm going to keep it.

Don't know about the trousers - small sizes usually run out the quickest. You'll be fine with the shirt though - plenty of shirts are still in stock.
